Neha Kakkar quits social media citing ‘hatred, nepotism, jealousy’
Neha Kakkar has announced a short break from social media, saying “going back to sleep! Please wake me up when there is a better world.”
The Indian playback singer Neha Kakkar turned to Instagram and announced her decision.
Neha Kakkar wrote, “Going back to sleep! Please wake me up when there is a better world. The world where there is Freedom, Love, Respect, Care, Fun, Acceptance, Good People.”
“Not hatred, nepotism, jealously, judgements, bossy people, Hitlers, murders, suicides, bad people,” Neha added.
Before signing off, the singer said, “Good night!!!! Don’t worry I’m not dying. Lol! Just going away for a couple of days.”
In the caption Neha Kakkar wrote, “I’m sorry if this makes anybody feel bad! But this is what I have been feeling since a long long time but not able to say it, just trying my best to be happy but not really happening.”
“I’m a human being and that too a very emotional one. So.. Yeh Sab.. It hurts me.. Don’t worry I’m okay.. Love you guys. Specially My #NeHearts,” she further added.
Neha Kakkar’s move came days after debate of nepotism in Bollywood gained momentum following the death of Sushant Singh Rajput on June 14, 2020.
