Young Pakistani singer Asim Azhar, whose song Humraah is trending on YouTube, has said that he never did think it would be given so much love.
The Humraah (Official Music Video) is trending at the fourth on video sharing platform and it is viewed by nearly one million fans within 24 hours.
Asim turned to Twitter and said “When I made this melody 3 years ago on a random night at my studio in Karachi, never did I think it would be given so much love.”
The singer, who became the youngest and only the fourth Pakistani artist after Atif Aslam, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Momina Mustehsan to have two or more songs in the 100 million club, was ecstatic and thanked fans for this love. He said, “thank you so much. God is the best planner.”
Earlier, Asim Ahzar’s Jo Tu Na Mila song crossed 100 million views on YouTube.
Humraah is Asim Azhar’s first song for Bollywood and is featured in film Malang.
According to the description of the song on YouTube is said “Presenting the full video song ‘HUMRAAH’ from the movie Malang. This latest version of the track is sung by Asim Azhar who originally composed the song as well and lyrics are penned by Kunaal Vermaa.”
Asim also took to Twitter and said it was an honour for him to collaborate with Kunaal. “What an honour to collaborate with @kunaalvermaa77 once again after Jo Tu Na Mila, this time for #Humraah!.”
